Darkness Into Light

Lost in the night

Hidden from your sight

A thief comes to snatch away your soul

Sadness he leaves

Uncertainty it breeds

Dreams created that leave you morose

When you awake

You’re left with heartache

Looking for the light

Needing help with this fight

Upon the Lord your hope rests

Grace and mercy He provides when you confess

Upon Him you can rely

To take that tear away from your eye

Taking the darkness out of the night

Make your way into His light

    1. Hey Rob, you could always post something about how you’re looking for someone. You could make it like one of those personal ads people put in the paper. It would be the perfect way to find another blogger who is looking to meet someone, and you could post your contact information at the bottom, so you could talk to them privately. It’s worth a try… don’t you think?

      1. Not looking for someone lol. Not right now. I mean, I would love to but I’m homeless basically poor and in a treatment program. That doesn’t read well for most lol. Thank you for thinking of me, that means a lot that you took the time. Made me happy

      2. Rob, none of that will matter to the right person. They will love you regardless. 😉 Now is the perfect time to date. You can do it long distance and really develop a strong connection, before introducing the physical aspects. Brian and I dated this way for a year before we got married, and that was back when we didn’t have computers or cell phones. We had to write letters the old fashioned way. Things are much easier nowadays. Anyway, just thought you may want to consider thinking beyond the normal way that people usually date. I’ve been married 23 yrs, and although it hasn’t always been easy, we still come back to our love letters. They’ve saved us quite a few times, remembering how we started is sort of what reignites us. I pray you’ll find the right person, when the time is right. 💜

      3. Thank you so much for your encouragement! I appreciate the positivity. There is a woman I kind of like who lives in the same state, but I didn’t think it wise to present myself that way

      4. You’ll never know unless you try…. 😉. Brian never gave me much thought, as he didn’t think I would be interested in him. I was the one who made the first move. Lol….

      5. Yes. And she is a blogger with attitude and sensuality to boot. Did I mention she is not that far away? She knows my story. Anyway, you gave me courage to step off the curb. I am going to hunt you down if I get hurt..oh wait, your husband is military..forget that. Haha, just kidding. I promise I will keep you posted. I trust you and your man. Now delete this thread!
