Lost for so long

Two souls separated along a path

Two hearts meant to be together

Trying to find a safe way out

Looking, searching for the best way back

Slowly finding their way amongst the thorns

Pain along the way, but worth the run

Knowing that they are better together than apart

Seeing each other closer to that path

Meeting along that path they were supposed to journey as one

A long walk back, an odyssey prevailed

Combined, two hearts become one.

Now coming together to make a fresh start

Today, Tomorrow, Forever

  3. You, Soldier and M, are the stuff from which love prevails. Love refined, purified, and tried in the fire. Is there still an enemy? Of course, but really sometimes he gives up in certain situations and moves on to find weaker “strands.” Eccl. 4:9-12 is a lovely picture of what you can be to each other, topped off by the Lord with you also. You both are such great writers able to touch emotions by your openness. Blessings, dear ones.
