A Year to Remember

A year has almost passed in to the beyond
Time of great upheaval and mayhem
Changes to so much of what had been normal
Adjusting to stay alive
In the midst of this all
Unbelievable grace has been bestowed
Old lives setting in the past at the drop of a ball
New chances with the rise of the sun in the east
Miracle of new life won out
With chubby cheeks and dark brown eyes
The announcement of another to come
What more could Grandma and Grandpa ask
A move on faith
That brings two back as one
Life is strange
In so much peril and scourge
Can the graciousness of God be seen
With all of that I still pray
That next year can go back to normal
Faces seen, hugs and handshakes

Delirious Intentions

He was all in for this shin ding
Right from the very start
At the beginning he knew it was the right thing
Once started they would never be apart
The craziness of it all was what he craved
An intenseness that was felt to the core
Its appeal was what made him its slave
The awesomeness left him crawling upon the floor
So for just a taste of a scrumptious smudge
Going after it with a vengeance
A taste of that homemade fudge
Left him with such delirious intentions
At the thought of being able to lick that bowl clean at the end.

The Last Link

Who would have believed it
Unless they saw it with their own two eyes
Such a strange little man was he
Who would have thought so much was within
A power that was unexpected you see
To the people all around
A hero had been found
To be a savior was unexpected in the least
Saving those he loved
And to think
That he was the last link
A savior for the world

A New Fallen Snow

The wind blows briskly across the pasture
Trees swaying to and fro
A night made to avoid disaster
The moon above brings and enlightened glow
A chill in the air felt to the bone
Wrapping its self all around
A white cover over the trees has been sewn
As a new fallen snow covers the world

Carnal Bliss

Her eyes burned with unbridled passion
Upon that gaze he did fall
Into the burning pools of fire within
Did his eagerness for her spread unchecked
A fieriness of lust abounded
He craved her touch all around
She cried out for his embrace
Into each other’s arms they plummeted
A scalding burning pyre did rage
Communion of their two souls
Interwoven with an animalism unleashed unabated
Craving, longing hunger for a satisfaction long denied
They did fall into a carnal bliss

Hand grasping at her throat
Squeezing ever so slightly
Sounds of ecstasy floating up in a note
His hand closes ever so tightly

Throes of passion rise in flame
The intensity of excitement grows
Rising up in their passionate game
She begs for his will to impose

Rising closer to her peak
Her release is near at hand
Euphoria of delight she seeks
She arrives at her promised land

A new plane of sensuality they have reached
Such a truly loving affair
Within a new sense of togetherness has been breached
The feel of fresh air, no despair

Captivating Confines

Lost in a world of make believe

A mind of wonder and illusion

Places we have yet to perceive

Hides his wonders in seclusion

 

Amazing creatures of every kind

Colors that dazzle the eye

Things you would never find

Maybe they have them in Shanghai

 

His mind delves in to the unknown

Worlds of undiscovered amazement

Often it seems like a danger zone

Such an anticipated engagement

 

Such a place of fascination

All wrapped up within his mind

Written in his narration

Within the walls of his captivating confines

A moment in time
Into a future she was took
His eyes were sublime
He glanced back at her
A warmth began to grow
The emotions began to stir
A feeling he always did know
Together they had been
Years always passing by
A love from way back when
Without a question they knew why
Still he was struck by her appearance
A beauty that had always endured
Her face flashed such a blushing brilliance
A lifetime together was secured

While their authenticity was due to complicity

And honesty was a real comedy

The loyalty was made for high class royalty

But our safety was forgotten about daily

Our security was often left in obscurity

However, the soundness was often boundless

Their trustworthiness was really worthlessness

It all was found within the realm of reliability

Through the walls
And down the halls
The only sound that was heard
Was the moaning and the groaning
What could make such a sound
Was it pleasure or was it pain
Always at night
When the moon was bright
The worrisome wailings
Left my courage failing
What could it be
Should I go see
Well maybe I will wait until first light
So, I don’t die from fright
