As a little girl
Her dreams that made up her world
Once upon a time
Made these characters sublime
Princesses and fairies
Made life so merry
Dragons and monsters
Would be her nighttime haunters
As she grew to into a woman
Dreams of life and love
Of a knight in shining armour
One who would be one day her charmer
Knowing one day her prince would come from afar
Wishing upon a star
She found her one true love
Sent from God and heaven above
