Even if I am doing from afar
I think of days with you
Going back to when I said I do
Missing the smell of your hair
Wishing I was back there
To wake into your arms
Awakened by your naughty charms
Is the wish I will make upon the stars tonight.
Sent out upon a whisper
Caught in the sky upon a twister
A vow of his love
Reaches her from above

A soft quiet sound
A soft gentle kisses
Sent from her love who she misses
A life full of promise
A life wasted away
Full of endless failures
Broken promises strewn along the way
Days and months and years away from home
Missing holidays, birthdays and so many special days
A heart breaks because I have gone a separate way

Not thinking of the destruction I have left in my wake
Failure chases me day after day

Hello all my Blogger friends out there. Just wanted to let you all know what has been going on with myself. Well I’m not sick or anything like that. I have made that large change in my life. This journey over the past month has taken me to South Carolina and now to Fort Polk in Louisiana for now. Next month my journey will take me even farther away from my family for an extended amount of time. Once I can get myself settled in I will be back amongst you my friends. Please pray for my family during this time we are apart. Thank you for your time and understanding.

Two hearts made into one is our endeavor
Today I begin my new journey and path in my life. I am going back into the Active Army to finish out my career. I don’t know all were this will take me, but I am ready to give it a go. Being older than most of the people I will be serving with should be interesting. I have enjoyed my last 10 years in the National Guard and have made many friends, but now I have a greater task and purpose in my life. Please pray for my family as we will be apart for some time. I am an American Soldier….
